* Standardized Makefile.

* Incremental compilation
* C++ compilers are called CXX
* Removed excessive comments for well-understood things
* Added clean target
* Proper .PHONY usage
* Updated .gitignore for object files (+ ctags, and vim temp files)

* Add mkdir -p bin.
